Salt Lake City Library

The Salt Lake City library is a unique building. It has two entrance one in front of the street and another one in the plaza. But the main entrance has a big circular stairs that guide you to the interior of this building.
In the interior, the space is divided in two towers and in the middle is a big hallway controlling the horizontal circulation. Also in almost all of the floors are small hallways functioning as balconies to the exterior and to the plaza.
About the vertical circulation in the same hallway in the middle you find the stairs that take you to the other floors. Another important aspect is related to the relation between these two towers because the horizontal circulation is defined by bridges that communicate these two sides.
